I will bring with me all the colors I have ever seen in my life, and will bring both my eyes to see and learn all the different ones I have not seen yet. I will bring my heart to absorb all the shades of red, to beat more passionately, and will spread love, to paint all the walls in the color of peace, in blue, the color of my veins and of the skies. I will bring all my pain to become the dark of the ink I would flow onto the white of my day-light, to draw the need for compassion in every single moment of time; all my happiness I will share. My roots I will bring with me. They are old and strong; they go deep in time. They know a lot. I will bring my vulnerability with me to be fragile. I will bring my sensitivity with me to feel correctly. I will bring my courage with me not to be afraid of the new. I will bring my traditions with me not to resist the old. I will be honest and never lie to my heart and anyone else’s eyes. I will be a newborn, eager to learn and to find. I will be transparent—a wash. I will be a new color among all the other original ones.
